The Ritual of Transformation is a cult encounter. It first appeared in the Miskatonic Horror expansion.

You stand before the alter, chosen to give yourself to the Black Goat, body and soul.
You must either discard your "One of the Thousand" Cult Membership and move to the street or gain 3 Corruption cards. For each 2 Clue tokens you discard, you may reduce the number of Corruption cards you gain by 1 (to a minimum of 0).
