A Favor Granted is a cult encounter. It first appeared in the Miskatonic Horror expansion.

"That which you have asked for shall be done, initiate, but the cost must be borne by you. It must be borne by your flesh and bone."
You may choose to discard either an Environment mythos card currently in play or a Rumor mythos card (without triggering either the Pass or Fail effects) in play. If you do so, reduce your maximum Stamina by 1.
