Talk:The Dunwich Horror

Should Dunwich Horror and The Dunwich Horror pages be separated again?

This is perhaps nit-picking, but I think "The Dunwich Horror" is the wrong page title to use for the game expansion. The expansion is titled 'Dunwich Horror' on the box and in every other context I've seen.

I'd contend that the page on the expansion should move back to 'Dunwich Horror', and 'The Dunwich Horror' should either be a disambiguation page or point to the monster (since it predates the herald.) Thoughts? (I'm not just making the change because I don't want to start an edit/revert war.) --Notfilc 06:10, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

After some consideration, I am in complete agreement with you.

When I made the changes, I had been inspired by The King in Yellow page, and how it notes that The King in Yellow also refers to the Unique Item and the Herald of the same name. And after seeing the name of the Dunwich Horror expansion on the Fantasy Flight web site as "Arkham Horror: The Dunwich Horror", I made the changes. But now, I see the name of the expansion with the lowercase "the" everywhere else. My main motivation was to note that the Dunwich Horror is the name of three things in the game: the expansion, the monster, and the herald. And, to separate the monster and herald pages.

Feel free to make the changes as you see fit. I may also do some of the changes when I have the time and motivation.

Cheers! --Ryanhanson 03:20, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
